I remember the first day my sister came from a consignment store with a plastic bag full of clothes. She was very excited showing me all the clothes she bought at very cheap prices. The ones she bought were very cute no doubt but I thought I would never buy from those stores, I’d prefer to buy brand new. Fast forward today, I can’t imagine myself buying brand new unless it is super on sale.

Now, trips to Value Village are like going to Disneyland for me and my sister. I’m just amazed how I can find really good quality stuff there, a lot of times brand new, at very affordable prices. What’s extra exciting is, I surprise myself by wearing clothes that I would otherwise never think of buying when I go to the mall. I can pretend to be a totally different person with the clothes that I find.

When we drive to different towns, a consignment store is one of our tourist destinations lol! We recently went on a European cruise and we were so proud that most of our outfits were from consignment stores! We didn’t have to break the bank to look cute.

Me and my sister would look on instagram for fashion ideas then make a trip to value village to try to find the pieces that we need. My wardrobe is now expanding but my expenses are very reasonable, thanks to the affordable prices at Value Village!
